List your properties — letting agent guide

Set up your Rightmove BLM feed once and every property syncs forever. No per-listing effort, no double data entry.

Why a feed beats re-keying

Letting agents already publish a Rightmove BLM V3 feed — the industry standard format. Connect it to Rent in the Borders once and every new property, price change, and status update flows in automatically. You keep managing properties in your existing CRM; they just also appear here.

Feed setup process

  1. Register an agent account at /account/register and verify your email.
  2. Enter your BLM feed URL in the dashboard's Feeds section. This is the URL your software publishes your BLM V3 XML at — most CRMs let you configure which portals can access it.
  3. Whitelist our IP if your feed is access-restricted. We provide a single static address.
  4. Trigger a first sync. We parse your feed, ingest properties, and report any parse issues.
  5. Confirm branding — upload your logo and confirm the name that appears on listings.

How often the feed syncs

We poll every feed hourly. Most CRM-published feeds also refresh on a fixed cadence; from the time you change something in your CRM to it appearing on the portal is typically under 90 minutes. Manual re-sync is available from the dashboard if you need a property live immediately.

What data we accept

  • Property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, furnished status
  • Asking rent, deposit, available-from date
  • Full address (postcode used for neighbourhood matching; display precision is configurable)
  • EPC rating, council tax band
  • Property description and features
  • Up to 20 images per listing
  • Status (available, let agreed, let, withdrawn)

What we ignore

  • Sale properties — we only list rentals.
  • Properties outside the Scottish Borders — the postcode filter drops non-Borders stock automatically.
  • Duplicate listings across feeds — we de-duplicate by address plus bedroom count.

Branding controls

  • Your logo appears on every listing you source.
  • A link back to your website is on your branded profile page at /agent/{your-id}/{slug}.
  • Enquiries carry your agency's name on the email subject.
  • With Premium, your brand colour tints the listing header.

Lead routing

Enquiries are routed to the email and phone number on your agency profile. If you need enquiries split by office or property type, set up additional email routing rules in the dashboard.

Reporting

Free accounts see a weekly enquiry summary. Premium accounts (£39/month) get real-time per-property analytics: listing views, phone reveals, email enquiries, save counts, and search-ranking position for the key terms that matter in the Borders.
